    Articles: Wakefield 2011 Show Announced

    Monday, November 08, 2010 - 12:51 PM, (5862 Reads)

The Wakefield Acorn & RISC OS Computer Show is finally announced for 2011, and the new website is launched.

The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club are pleased to formally announce what might be the RISC OS market's worst-kept secret of 2010: that the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Show will be taking place once again in the new year. On 16th April, Wakefield 2011 will be returning to the Cedar Court Hotel near Wakefield: a venue which has been the show's home on and off since its launch sixteen years ago.
Details of the North's premier Acorn and RISC OS show are still being finalised, but we can confirm that the format will be similar to that of previous years and will once again include the popular Show Theatre.
More information about the event, including the location of the venue and how to get there by car or public transport, can be found on the re-launched show website at www.wakefieldshow.org.uk. The site will be updated as more information becomes available over the coming months.
If you are interested in exhibiting at the event, please contact the show organisers. Email can be sent to show2011@wakefieldshow.org.uk and alternative contact details are on the website.
Advertising banners in a couple of standard sizes are available on the site for anyone who wishes to help us publicise the event via their own website. Full instructions are supplied with the images. Full page adverts (A4 portrait and reduced landscape) will also be made available soon in PDF and bitmap formats.
More information about the show organisers, WROCC, can be found on the Club website at www.wrocc.org.uk.
